Hello everyone ! My name is Max, I've been immersed in music my whole life and I've been teaching guitar for almost 15 years, both in private lessons and in YouTube videos since 2009, where I've accumulated over 130,000 subscribers. I offer to help you learn acoustic or electric guitar via Skype or other means. The program will cover technical aspects, as well as music theory, ear training, rhythm, composition, improvisation, and, of course, learning your favorite songs. Being versatile, I can adapt to all styles of music, and I am particularly comfortable teaching beginners. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

Since 2014, I am teaching students who are living in different parts of the world via Zoom/Skype/Meet – in English, French, Farsi and Turkish languages, and it is working very well. The scores are written with a hybrid notation (music notation and tab notation), and with all the information necessary about the right and left hand. After having agreed on the pieces / songs to be worked on, the relevant score is shared and given at the lesson. The teacher goes through it, while he also plays it live to the pupil for even more reach. He then explains what needs to be clarified in order to prepare any homework. Finally, Alex creates a video tutorial about the piece or song that needs to be learned for the next lesson. This gives extra support when practising at home, in order to avoid any doubt and keep motivation up. A report is then created to keep track of what has been done as well as what needs to be worked on, in order to unlock technical requirements and complete a specific repertoire in a constructive and efficient way. Alex teaches in Rotterdam at home or at the pupil's own location ; lessons are in Dutch, English or French, for all ages and levels. The teacher mainly gives live lessons, where he works with his pupils on specific material (technique and repertoire).
