C’est un plaisir de partager ma passion et chaque élève est pour moi une nouvelle mission. Si je vous racontais un petit bout de ma vie : Après 6 ans de piano et 2 ans de percussions classiques au conservatoire de Nice, je découvre la basse en 1994. D’abord autodidacte, je prends quelques cours avec Thierry Connand puis Christian Paccchiodi . Titulaire d’un bafa petite enfance, je fais de l’éveil musical pendant cette période. J’avais eu la chance de découvrir la vie de groupe, en intégrant en tant que choriste le groupe Dazz and Zazz (compositions Funk) et en tant que choriste/claviériste, le groupe « De la Tune » (reprises funk). En 1995, je joue dans mon premier groupe en tant que bassiste/choriste. (Dans un groupe de punk) A ce moment là, je ne sais pas encore que ma basse et mon micro ne vont plus jamais me quitter... MUSICALEMENT Plus tard je mets un pied dans la musique contemporaine, en reprenant les musiques de Frank Zappa , dans les « Children of invention ». Ce fût une superbe expérience pour le travail de l’instrument, l’ouverture musicale, et le travail de groupe. Ces nouvelles influences m’ont amenées vers des projets de compositions plutôt expérimentaux comme les Marto ventouz (contemporain, musique de film d’horreur) et Vladimir bozar (Zaping , contemporain, métal). Avec ce dernier nous avons fait 1 album sorti chez Harmonia Mundi et en faisons actuellement un 2ème. .PLUS à propos du chant D’autre projets de reprises m’amènent à chanter de plus en plus, dans Alerte à Skalibu (reprises ska et rock steady) 1 album, puis dans King Selewa (calypso)2 albums, ou pour la première fois je chante sans la basse. INITIATION PIANO : A l'aide d'une méthode ludique les enfants peuvent à partir de 4 ans, lire une partition avec des notes de couleurs, chanter les notes, jouer un morceau dès le 1er cours puis évoluer au fil des semaines. Afin de mémoriser plus facilement les notes, ils peuvent composer un petit morceau puis écrire les notes ou poser ces notes sur un tapis portée pour reproduire la partition de la chanson du jour. Reconnaissance des notes avec la mise en paire de clochettes (montessori), dictée de notes. Pour la compréhension rythmique nous utilisons une petite percussion ou percussion corporelle et une marelle de rythme. Pour plus grands et adultes j'utilise une méthode évolutive et quelques outils cités plus haut. CHANT : Travail selon la demande sur la posture, la détente, la respiration, le soutien, le timbre, la justesse. Travail de divers exercices ou vocalises correspondant à ce que doit améliorer l’élève. Le Choix des chansons dépends du goût de l’élève, ou du mien, selon le style de registre de sa voix. Une fois que l’élève est plus à l’aise, il est essentiel qu’il arrive à ressentir et à transmettre ses émotions, ce qui est en quelque sorte l’objectif final. BASSE : J’essaie de faire comprendre l’importance du rôle de la basse (qui n’est pas toujours connue) et de l’interaction qu’il doit avoir avec la batterie. il m’arrive justement d’accompagner mes élèves en jouant de la batterie afin qu’ils comprennent comment marche le basse batterie, c’est bien de le faire avant d’avoir son propre groupe.
